Italian Cooking Class - Homemade Pasta - Tagliatelle cacio e pepe sauce

I am Ornella, I am Italian and I teach how to prepare typical Italian dishes.

In this meeting we will prepare tagliatelle, one of the most famous types of fresh Italian pasta in the world which originated in Emilia.

According to legend, tagliatelle was invented in 1487 by Mastro Zafirano on the occasion of Lucrezia Borgia's wedding to the Duke of Ferrara.

It is said that the cook was inspired by the bride's beautiful blond hair to wax this new fresh pasta.

Cacio e pepe sauce, on the other hand, is one of the most famous sauces in Roman cuisine.

Italian cuisine is an ancient cuisine, linked to different types of territory and traditions.

Cooking is a creative process and creating a dough means literally shaping from scratch the food we will then eat.

We will prepare food together and taste what we have prepared.... ... or you can take tagliatelle home and eat them with your family!

The class will be held with a minimum of 2 participants up to a maximum of 8

What to bring:

Bring a rolling pin, for any of you who would like to take home what we will be preparing to cook later at home, I ask that you bring two containers, one for the pasta and one for the sauce, and if you like, your apron!
