Youโre invited to an open house at Community Lifeline Center (CLC) to tour our newly renovated food pantry.
What is CLC?
Community Lifeline Center is a nonprofit based in McKinney, providing essential crisis assistance to Collin County residents. When families face unexpected emergenciesโjob loss, medical bills, or rising living costsโCLC is here to help keep them housed, safe, and fed.
Homelessness Diversion Services Include:
๐ Emergency Rent Assistance
๐ก Emergency Utility Assistance
๐จ Grocery Store Style Food Pantry
In just the past year, CLC has provided $60,000 in rental assistance and $285,000 in emergency aid to local families. But the need is outpacing the resources. Currently, only 27% of applications for assistance are approved due to funding limitations.
๐จ RECORD-BREAKING NEED IN 2025
In May 2025, we served 2,735 families in our Food Pantryโa 32% increase over last year:
โ
225 families served in a single day (May 14 โ our BIGGEST DAY ever)
โ
701 families served in a single week (May 4โ10 โ our BIGGEST WEEK ever)
A recent $9 million cut in USDA funding has worsened food insecurity in North Texas. We urgently need support to keep our shelves stocked and our services running.
Come see how your support makes a difference.
