Lunch Bunch - Dia De Los Muertos History and Traditions

Dia De Los Muertos - most people living in Texas have heard of this holiday the day after Halloween, but what do we know about it and why it is celebrated with so much enthusiasm in specific cultures?

Join us as Theresa Strange Johnson shares the history and elements of the celebration. McKinney will be hosting the first city-wide Dia De Los Muertos Celebration in downtown on October 11th. Come and learn about this fascinating celebration and why you will want to come out for the City of McKinney festival.
