Puppies with the Police

Join us for the first-ever “Puppies with the Police” event — right here in Garrett County!

Here's the deets:
🗓 Saturday, May 17 | 9:00–11:00 AM
📍 In front of Bear Creek Coffee & Creamery, Shop ‘n Save Plaza, McHenry

Come meet local law enforcement and adoptable animals for a morning full of community, conversation, and wagging tails! Officers from the Maryland Natural Resources Police, Maryland State Police, and Garrett County Sheriff’s Office will be on-site with patrol vehicles, a police boat, and plenty of opportunities to chat about law enforcement, boating safety, and careers in policing — all in a fun, relaxed setting.

We’ll also have adorable dogs ready to meet their future families!
Enjoy free drinks and snacks, boating safety giveaways, collectible event wristbands, and the chance to connect with recruiters.

🐾 Want to help even more? Bring along new pet toys or treats to donate!
