📦 What's Tax-Free:

Clothing and footwear with a sales price less than $100 per item

School supplies with a sales price less than $100 per item

💸 What You Need to Know:

The $100 limit applies per item, not per transaction. For example, two $75 shirts are tax-free, but a $110 pair of shoes is taxable

-Internet/mail/phone orders count if ordered and paid during the holiday—delivery can come later

-Local sales tax may still apply in municipalities with their own tax—check your city or county’s participation .

Exclusions: rentals, items $100 or more, and accessory bundles with disallowed items (e.g., certain boot types, hair accessories) won’t qualify—see official list
