Symphony in the Park

The Valley Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to kick off its 74th Season with the 2nd annual Symphony in the Park! Presented by HEB and part of the ongoing Sunset Live Concert Series, this FREE outdoor community event takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 on the grounds of the McAllen Convention Center.

This year's program features:

The Art of Video Game Music — a breathtaking symphonic and visual journey through the music that has defined generations of gaming. Featuring selections from Halo, Civilization IV, Kingdom Hearts, ABZÛ, Walkabout Mini Golf, Incarnate, and The Baby in Yellow.

A string quartet tribute to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.

A kids’ percussion workshop.

Food trucks, refreshments, vendors, and more family fun!
