GCOC Members
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7th. We will be holding our annual grounds cleanup and repair program beginning at 8 AM on that day.
This is YOUR club and we all need to keep it in good repair. Your annual dues of only $50 per year is extremely reasonable and that money is earmarked for maintaining the grounds,
repairing the roadways, backstops, fishing ponds and archery butts. It has also been used to develop better shooting facilities such as the 50 yard covered pavilion that was installed last summer.
There will be a list of actions that need to be addressed located in the clubhouse. Again, as per last year, please sign up in the clubhouse and choose an activity that you feel comfortable working on. Assign your name to that activity so that we know it is being worked on. If you have special skills such as carpentry, concrete finishing or painting, let me know ahead of time. We will provide all of the materials necessary to complete an activity but there are not enough
tools to be able to cover the many activities concurrently, so please do bring your own tools. Some of the activities include W**d trimming, range cleanup, painting, mowing, repairs and
replacements. There is plenty of work for all ages and skill levels.
Gem City will provide lunch.
Let’s make this an enjoyable day when we get the grounds back into a condition that we are all proud of. I look forward to seeing all of you who can make it.
