About Us: Maisy and Marley’s Purpose is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the financial gap families face when caring for children with critical and complex medical needs. Over the years, we've helped numerous families with mortgage payments, therapies, medical equipment, and other financial obligations as they focused on caring for their child during hospital stays, illness, or job loss.
Our big focus for 2025-2026 is funding an all-inclusive playground facility in Council Bluffs, IA. In partnership with CB Parks & Rec, HGM Associates & Unlimited Play we're developing a playground that will serve our ENTIRE community—a one-of-a-kind destination that elevates play for everyone and brings families together in joy. We believe this facility will put Council Bluffs on the map and be a regional draw and attract visitors from surrounding communities.
Over the last four years, the Blue Jean Ball event has raised over $100,000 allowing us to live out our mission.
Join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, and giving as we raise funds to support families in our community with children facing critical medical needs!
Admission:
- Ages 13+: $20
- Ages 3-12: $10
- 2 and under: Free

5-10 PM Dinner:
Enjoy pulled pork donated by Erica & Mark Bowers and cooked by Smokin A BBQ, along with cheesy potatoes, beans, chips, desserts, and drinks!
5-8:30 PM Silent Auction:
Bid on a variety of baskets, gift cards, and more! Winners will be announced at 8:30 PM.
7 PM Live Auction:
Bid on big-ticket items during our live auction!
5-9 PM Raffle:
Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win various gift cards and raffle items! Winners will be announced at 9 PM.
6-9 PM Band:
Dance the night away to live music!
5-7 PM Tiny Tinsel & Tattoo:
Face painting and a balloon artist will be on hand for family fun—bring the kiddos and let them enjoy!
5-10 PM Cash Bar + Slushie Machine
For the 21+ crowd, enjoy beer and seltzers! Plus we will have a slushie machine going from Double Sip!
