The Village of McFarland is conducting a corridor traffic study of Siggelkow Road from Erling Avenue to County Highway AB. The study will evaluate a number of factors that can either contribute to or alleviate traffic congestion, safety issues, or inaccessibility and will offer recommended solutions to address current and anticipated issues and deficiencies. The factors under review include:
- Traffic operations, i.e. roadway signage and signals for the management and control of traffic flow, etc.
- Roadway and intersection geometrics, i.e. the design, dimensions, arrangements, and angles of the roadway and its various intersections, with a particular focus on safety and traffic capacity
- Multimodal accommodations along the roadway, i.e. the roadway and pedestrian path infrastructure and its ability to accommodate various transportation modes (walking, biking, transit, private and commercial vehicles) safely, efficiently, and accessibly
Join us at the Municipal Center on Wednesday, May 7 to learn more about the study and how it will be used to inform future decision making.
This meeting will include a presentation and a Q&A session. A virtual option is available, and the meeting will be recorded.
