Australian duo Great Aunt—Megan Bird and Chelsea Allen—blend old-time, gospel, and bluegrass traditions with raw, foot-stomping energy and soulful harmonies. Their minimalist yet powerful instrumentation of mandolin, guitar, resonator, and double bass supports stories of joy, grief, and purpose. Since forming in 2016, they’ve become festival favorites and shared stages with notable acts across Australia and beyond.
