One Act Play - Booby Trap

This year's Mayer Lutheran One Act Play, BOOBY TRAP by Ed Monk, is a compelling one-act drama that explores the human experience of war, memory, and sacrifice.

Set in the near future, the play centers on an American soldier who finds himself trapped in a combat zone when he inadvertently sits on a land mine. With no clear way to escape, he is forced to confront the uncertainty of his fate. As the story unfolds, moments from his past, present, and imagined future emerge in a series of vivid scenes that illuminate his relationships, choices, and the emotional cost of service.

This performance is free and open to the public.
