Spotted Lanternfly Presentation

After Maumee saw its first major wave of these destructive pests last summer, experts expect their numbers to rise again
The Environmental and Tree Advisory Commission, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Maumee, will host an informative, hands‑on session where residents can learn about the threat posed by the spotted lanternfly and hear about the city’s efforts to remove the tree of heaven, the insect’s preferred host.
