アルプス越えの鎌倉街道1 いにしえの祠峠を歩く旅

飛騨・高山と信州をつなぐ峠には、野麦峠・安房峠・中尾峠などが知られていますが、鎌倉時代に信州と飛騨・高山をつなぐルートとして、信濃峠を経て飛騨・高山をつなぐ鎌倉街道あったことはあまり知られていません。

鎌倉街道のアルプス越え核心部は、野麦街道から分かれる奈川（角ヶ平）から祠峠・檜峠を越え沢渡へ。そして
沢渡から池尻砦・障子ヶ瀬（渡渉点）・倉洞沢（渡渉点）と歩き、十石尾根を経由して安房平・平湯へ降りるルートです。

今回の歩く旅では、鎌倉街道の踏査に30余年の歳月をかけた服部祐雄氏（故人）の「探訪記アルプス越えの鎌倉街道」を読み解きながら、コース内でも比較的歩きやすい野麦街道の分岐点と乗鞍の旧大野川集落をつなぐ祠峠を歩きます。
