Winster Open Gardens - Orchard Shaft

As part of the 'Secret Gardens of Winster' weekend a team from Wirksworth Mines Research Group and the Peak District Mines Historical Society will be lighting up Orchard Mine shaft in one of the village gardens from 1.30pm - 4.30pm Saturday & Sunday. The volunteers from these groups will be around to talk to you about the lead mining legacy and will have some of the old miners tools on display.
