The Tansley Scarecrow Trail takes place annually as part of the Tansley Village Festival. People of all ages enjoy making the scarecrows that are displayed around the village for one week in July.
Trail day takes place at Tansley Village Hall from 9am on Sunday 13th July with the prize giving at 3pm. There are some great prizes thanks to our sponsors and advertisers.
On Sunday 13th July we welcome people from the local area to enjoy the Scarecrow Trail and marvel at the fabulous creations.
All the scarecrows will be plotted on a Trail Map that you can buy from the Village Hall for £2. Maps will be on sale from 9am. If you want to enter the People's Choice vote you need to return to vote by 2.30pm.
Hot and Cold Drinks, Cakes and Ice Creams (weather dependent) will also be on sale. If the weather is nice Bentley Brook Brewery will also be bringing their refreshments too!
We also have a raffle with some great prizes. Tickets are £1.
Any donations made on the Just giving page will be entered into the raffle. Proceeds will go to Tansley Primary School and Cancer Research.
