Heritage Walk - Via Gellia Mills, Mines and Quarries

Join Tony Wood on this walk along the Via Gellia from Cromford where the stream powered many different mills and the mines and quarries provided materials needed at some of them. During Victorian times the valley was also famous for the variety of ferns and was a popular place to visit.
Meet at 11am at the Market Place in Cromford. Walk costs £4 per person - please bring the correct change.
If it is windy we will not be able to go along this area due to the Ash die-back leaving some unstable trees so the walk will be changed to one around the village of Cromford instead - we will announce this on our Facebook.
