“The Great Matawan Graveyard Crawl” will be held on Saturday 10/25
The Matawan Aberdeen Historical Society is proud to present “The Great Matawan Graveyard Crawl” on the evening of Saturday, October 25th.
Guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience as they travel to 5 separate historic sites in Matawan to hear the tales of those buried there. There will be no guides or tour busses. Instead, the fascinating stories of long gone residents will be told in their own words by volunteers who will be fully immersed in character beside the actual graves of those they portray.

For a $20 donation guests will receive a special limited edition souvenir pass that allows access to all the historic graveyards that are participating from 6-9:30pm on 10/25. Children 18 and under are free.
Starting Point:
Tickets will be picked up on 10/25 at Burrowes Mansion (94 Main Street, Matawan). Burrowes Mansion will be the first of the 5 locations open for this event.
All proceeds will go towards our non profit and maintaining Burrowes Mansion Museum.
Shark attacks, Revolutionary War skirmishes, prohibition shootouts, unexplained orbs, phantom footsteps, ancient graves and true tales of mysterious deaths make Matawan one of the most unique small towns in the United States.
