Grinduro Italy è esattamente ciò che suggerisce il nome: gara su strada sterrata + enduro in stile mountain bike = un lungo giro di asfalto e sterrato, in cui i tempi di arrivo non si basano sul tempo complessivo del giro, ma su quattro segmenti cronometrati (ciascuno di circa cinque-dieci minuti).
Ma Grinduro non è solo un'altra gara su ghiaia. È una celebrazione lunga un fine settimana del ciclismo su ghiaia con tanta enfasi sul divertimento quanto sulla pedalata, con cibo eccellente, un'impressionante esposizione d'arte, un'incredibile esposizione di biciclette, musica dal vivo, campeggio e un'atmosfera da festival.

In short, Grinduro Italy is just what the name suggests: gravel road race + mountain bike-style enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).
But Grinduro is not just another gravel race. It’s a weekend long celebration of gravel cycling with as much emphasis on the fun as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art, an incredible bike expo, live music, camping, and a festival atmosphere.
