Story Time with author Charlotte Gunnufson

Save the date for this event for the kids! Author Charlotte Gunnufson is taking over Story Time for on Sunday, August 24!

Join this Iowa children’s author for some story time fun with two new books, Hard Hat Hank and the Sky-High Solution from Disney Planet Possible and Dream Submarine from Candlewick. Move and groove to silly songs, play the matching game and roll the dice to get the fish to the finish line! Book signing to follow.

Hard Hat Hank and his hardworking crew rev up the dozer, dump truck and digger, but two birds and their tiny nest throw a big wrench in the plan! Hard Hat Hank and the Sky-High Solution, illustrated by award-winning artist Brian Biggs, is an action-packed celebration of teamwork, problem solving and living in harmony with nature.

The Dream Submarine is set for a nighttime journey through the world’s oceans! Climb aboard the cozy sub and encounter real ocean animals like boxfish, whales and bioluminescent brittle stars. Some are settling in for the night—while others are just waking up! Dream Submarine includes a map and five extra pages of fun facts.
