Kokedama workshop at The Garage on King

Join us at The Garage on King, Thursday, June 26th at 6pm to create your very own Kokedama! You’ll get a free drink with your ticket plus with several food vendor options you can also enjoy a delicious meal while you create

Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai (根洗い literally "root wash," but meaning "no pot") bonsai and kusamono planting styles.

- one well established 3”-4” plant of your choice from large Selection of plants.

- houseplant soil mix

- moss

- twine, wire and fishing string for wrapping and hanging

- a drink from the bar
