During my floral career I have seem a vast amount of change within the industry, no less so than within our approach to design and construction including the flowers and materials we use.
This full day workshop has been created with this in mind.
Taking place at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens you will get the opportunity to create designs using not only sustainable techniques but also the most beautiful British blooms the season has to offer.
In the morning following coffee and pastries we will discuss the mechanics behind a variety of foam free installations and how these can work within your own designs.
Working as a team and in small groups we will create a free-standing design around the entrance of the stunning Music/Garden Room within the Walled Gardens before breaking for lunch and taking a wander around.
The afternoon will be spent creating a magical tablescape and elevated florals, alternatively dependant on the season a cascading design
It's a full and intensive day, however, some mechanics will be pre-prepped in order for you to get hands-on with a varied selection of designs and techniques.
*Places for this workshop will be limited to 12 students
*Please note that a minimum number of students are needed to make the course viable. Should this not be reached alternative dates/workshops or full refunds will be offered.
