Friday Night Art: Dragonfly Mini Canvas
at The Sips Studio inside Southside Sips
Friday August 22nd • 5–7pm
All ages welcome (minors must be with an adult).
Drop in anytime between 5–7pm to begin your project.
Supplies are handed out until 7pm, and you're welcome to stay and finish your artwork at your own pace. We are open until 10pm or later.
Join us for a relaxed and family-friendly evening of creativity in The Sips Studio! This week’s project is a mini dragonfly painting on canvas, full of charm, nature textures, and personal flair.
Each guest will begin by painting their background — black or any color that inspires you. Then, you'll create your own unique dragonfly scene, starting with a hand-painted body in white. Using real plant leaves as stamps, you’ll print vibrant, colorful wings in whatever shades you choose — no two dragonflies will be the same! To finish, you’ll use a small branch to add delicate antennae and a touch of whimsy.
Each mini canvas also comes with a mini easel, which you can paint and decorate too — just a fun little extra to proudly display your piece.

🐈🐕🦺 It's a pet-friendly evening! Well-behaved leashed Pets are welcome—inside and outside!
Parking: If you don’t see parking up front, there’s plenty in the back lot behind the building.
It’s a perfect creative outing for families, friends, or anyone looking to end the week with some low-pressure, joyful art time.
