We’re so excited to have Als BBQ MA serving delicious food again this year. Chef Alex does a fantastic job!
We’re also inviting guests to bring a pet food item. We’re collecting unopened pet food items to help support the Marshfield Food Pantry as well as the Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc.
Our dedicated team of volunteers started organizing this annual event back in 2018 in hopes of raising funds to build the park. Our nonprofit had to raise $25,000 to apply for the $250,000 grant funding from the Stanton Foundation. We also had to request $175,000 from CPC. Thanks to the strong support from the community, our volunteers were able to hold onto this mission of building the park. It took 5 years of raising funds and fighting to secure land.
Our volunteers continue to raise funds to pay for the maintenance of the park. We pay for the pet waste removal supplies services. This costs $10,000 annually and, we believe it’s an important investment in keeping the park clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. This is possible because of our incredible community of pet owners.
