Come gather with other expecting, new and seasoned parents to try out multiple types of carriers, learn about babies physical development in the first year, and learn a practical way to connect with your littles in a busy parent’s life.
This two hour workshop will be facilitated by two certified Babywearing educators, both parents themselves. Our time will be broken into two parts. For the first hour, we will focus on the basics of Babywearing, including carrier types, safety tips, and general care instructions.
The second half of the workshop will focus on carrying babies and older children with woven wraps. We will cover a few types of carries, Utilizing different lengths of fabric.
Our extensive babywearing library of carriers will also be on site for trying on and seeing the different options available.
Caregivers are welcome to bring their own carriers, but this is never a requirement. All carriers used for teaching and demonstrating are coming from smoking free homes. Come as you are, with or without your child(ren). We are excited to teach and learn with you.
