Polyphony presents songs that leap from pop melodies to impressionistic soundscapes, and back again.

These are original arrangements of music by a series of bold innovators, including Solange, Prince, Charli XCX and Arthur Russell – songs that slip between moods, songs that loop and repeat, our voices combining and dissolving.

Conceived by our late, beloved musical director Jack Colwell, and conducted by Oliver John Cameron, Wild Combination is both an act of homage and a celebration. Join in.

Wild Combination will be held on Gadigal and Wangal land. We acknowledge the Gadigal and the Wangal as traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to elders past and present. They have gathered to share stories, music and culture here for tens of thousands of years, and we are grateful to be able to do so as a community today.
