Superior on Tap - Tourism in the Upper Peninsula

The Upper Peninsula, especially near Lake Superior's shoreline, is a destination for outdoor tourism in the Midwest. With approx. 1.5 million visitors each year in Marquette County, what impacts does tourism have on our environment and communities? Join us for another impactful community lecture, this time from Dr. Michael Broadway, a human geographer who formerly taught in NMU's Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences.

There will be a suggested $5-10 donation at the door to support watershed protection in the UP. This event is open to all ages. We hope to see you there!
