Fused Glass Birch Curve

Create your own vibrant fused glass masterpiece! In this guided workshop, you’ll design on a clear glass base, layering colorful glass pieces to bring your design to life. Many students choose to create fall birch trees—but if you’re feeling adventurous, feel free to go rogue! Either use our provided template, or we'll help you sketch and plan something totally your own. Then we'll guide beginners step-by-step and give creative coaching for returners!
Fused glass is all about layering and trusting the process: your piece might look a little rough when you leave, but the kiln will work its magic. After class, your project will be kiln-fired twice: once to fuse the design, and again to slump it into a graceful curve so that it's self-standing. The result is a striking sculptural piece perfect for display on a shelf, mantle, or desk.
At registration, choose your size! Your $52 + tax registration includes:
* 4" x 6" clear glass base formed into a C-curve shape
* Or, upgrade your size for $18 more, and do a 4" x 12" base formed into a graceful S-curve.
* All tools, materials, instructions, and kiln firings included.
Preregistration is required. Spaces are limited to 12 participants.
No experience needed—just bring your imagination (and maybe a friend)! Projects will be ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks.
