In this interactive watch and apply session, you will enjoy a front row view of professional makeup artistry while learning to recreate each step on yourself. You will be guided through the key techniques needed for a flawless and polished makeup application, including colour theory for concealing and camouflaging, understanding complementary colours, selecting the right products and enhancing your natural features through contouring and highlighting.
We will begin with a live demonstration, where Jennifer will show you each step in real time before you apply it to your own face. You will then follow along, applying the techniques yourself with guidance and support throughout the session. This allows you to see how the look is created while learning how to adapt it to suit your own skin tone, undertone and face shape.
You will learn how to create a flawless base, including foundation and concealer placement, contouring, blush and highlight zones and how to balance the complexion using colour theory. From there, we will move into the most requested look of all, the glam eye. Each step will be demonstrated clearly and then recreated by you, making it easy to follow and repeat at home. You will also learn how to shape and fill your eyebrows, apply false lashes seamlessly and finish the look with professional techniques that keep your makeup fresh and long wearing.
To complete the look, Jennifer will show you how a few simple adjustments can take your makeup from soft glam to sexy glam without needing to start again, giving you multiple looks from one application.
Upon arrival at our Old Hollywood meets Beverly Hills inspired training studio, you will step into an elegant space designed for relaxation and glam. Refreshments will be served, including sparkling wine or juice. You will then settle into your seat and enjoy learning as the live demonstration unfolds in front of you while you apply the look to yourself.
Our senior makeup artist, Jennifer, will guide you through every stage of creating a flawless soft glam look. With over 14 years of experience across bridal and event artistry, professional makeup education and the local screen and media industry, Jennifer brings both technical skill and practical knowledge to every session.
Throughout the class, you will gain insider techniques, professional tips and timeless methods you can use in your own routine. You will also learn how to identify your skin shade and undertone, understand which colours work best for you and apply your makeup in a way that enhances your natural features. The session concludes with an intimate Q and A where you can ask anything from product recommendations and current trends to camera ready application techniques.
This is not a typical makeup lesson filled with sales pitches. At The Art of Makeup Society, it is about genuine learning, professional guidance and a touch of luxury, all delivered in a beautiful studio setting with refreshments served throughout.
