3rd Annual Benny Zemaitis Memorial Catfish Tournament.
Registration starts Friday, 05/30/2025 and runs from 4pm to 8pm.
Registration is $25.00 per person for ages 12 and up. Under 12 is free, but must be accompanied by a Registered adult. This event is Open to the public.
Participants 17 and older must have a Valid Fishing License per Michigan DNR Regulations.
Once registered, participants can fish any legal waterway, and must abide by legal fishing practices. No more than 3 lines per registered participant. All participants with any catfish to weigh in must be at the club ready for weigh in by 1:00pm on Saturday, June 1st.
Anyone arriving late will be disqualified.
Each entrant is allowed (1) Channel Catfish, and or (1) Flathead Catfish that were caught between Friday, May 30th starting at 4pm, and Saturday, May 31st at 12:30pm.
Each Registered entry will receive (2) Tags & Zip ties to tag their fish
Top 3 fish in each classification in weight will be awarded prizes, as well as (1) Random youth, & (1) Random adult winner from all those who weigh in a catfish. Anyone suspected of tampering with a fish in such a way as to increase it’s weight will be disqualified. Let’s keep it fun & honest.
We will have a water tank onsite to keep the fish alive so that you can release them back into the wild after weigh in.
Food & refreshments will be available on Saturday after 12 noon.

All Proceeds go toward the Marne Conservation Club to be used for things such as our Scholarship program, 4H, Boy Scout Troop, & Hunters Safety, just to name a few.
