Lake Williams Boardwalk and Nature Trail

Walk on water along the Lake Williams Boardwalk Trail! This half mile floating boardwalk connects to a 1.5-mile shoreline nature trail. Learn about the geology, cultural and natural history, including the history of the ice industry and role of Lake Williams in the local water supply. Here's an opportunity to see the new interpretive trail signs and get a behind the scenes story of this special place.

Meet at the Lizotte Drive parking lot trailhead on Saturday, August 23rd at 9AM. Please wear sturdy shoes as the nature trail includes uneven surfaces - bug repellant and water are also recommended. Dogs are not allowed on these trails because Lake Williams is a backup water supply.
