May is a great time of year to explore the 2+ miles of trail on the wooded 105 acres at Cider Knoll. Nestled among historic homesteads along Stow Road owned by some of the original settlers of Marlborough, this property has wooded trails, vernal pools, rocky outcroppings and large wetlands ideal habitat for a wide range of wildlife. Join us as we explore the trails and observe the many shades of green and early blooming plants visible this time of year. The boardwalk which spans the wetland is a great place for bird watching or taking a moment on the boardwalk benches to take in the view.
Learn about the Marlborough Community Garden, field management using goats, Mello Farm history and the upcoming Native Pollination Garden to be installed this year.
Meet at the parking area off Stow Road in Marlborough ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/bXDCZ2iVXj4mRhbo6) at 9AM on Saturday, May 24th.
