The Streetboys was the first Filipino boy dance group, formed in 1993 when a group of young hopefuls auditioned at Equinox disco. Renowned film and television director Chito Roño had called for the audition.

They popularized various dance hits that made their mark on Filipino culture, including "Lick It", "Friends", "The Sign", "MMMbop", "Arikingking", "Macarena", "Ragamuffin Girl", "Feel Like Dance", "Beautiful Life", "Ecstasy Extano", and "On Ne S'Aimera Plus Jamais".
