Welcome to In Time – GAIA Quartet Canadian Tour!

Come join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music with GAIA Quartet at the Infiniti Strings Music Hall!

This concert features new works by Taiwanese-Canadian composer Hsiu-Ping Patrick Wu and Aspen Barker’s compositions, spanning traditional folksongs to bold new sound worlds. Audiences will also experience modern American works by Caroline Shaw as well as the timeless classics of Florence Price. Together, the program celebrates music of memory, imagination, and vibrant cross-cultural traditions.

GAIA Quartet is an intentionally all-women string quartet based in Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to commissioning and performing works by living composers. Founded in 2022 by Aspen Barker, Yi Charice Tang, Simone Cartales, and Rosalyn Taylor, GAIA Quartet was formed out of a shared passion for bringing contemporary music to modern audiences.

GAIA Quartet is honored to partner with Infiniti Strings and the Lagom Music Society on this Canadian tour, celebrating the launch of their debut album In Time.
