Beetlejuice Jr is the hour-long dark comedy, based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway musical.
Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon with a real zest for... life?
Auditions are July 29th and 30th from 4-6pm at McDowell Arts Council Association 50 South Main Street Marion, North Carolina. Performers must be 4th through 12th grade and are asked to bring a prepared song (which can be performed with accompaniment, karaoke track that can be connected via Bluetooth, or acapella), arrive with a parent or guardian, and be ready to read scripts along with other auditionees!
Tech crew is asked to come in with a parent or guardian and register on audition days (Tech may also fill out the pre-registration form below). To participate in tech-crew, you must be 6th grade to 12th grade.
