Color Confidence for Quilters Worshop

Workshop will be in the Community Room at The Cottages. Learn to confidently select fabrics from a store, online, your stash or a leftover kit. Subjects of discussion will be why color is important for quilting, the color wheel, warm/cool colors, color intensity, color schemes, psychology of color, color ratio, value and scale of fabric. A 15 page take home folder utilized in class to attach fabric swatches using Laurie’s fabric.
Laurie Landree is an art quilter, quilt instructor and lecturer, retired hairdresser and quilt pattern designer. Her award-winning quilts have been displayed at regional and national juried quilt shows, in magazines and books, and she has been featured on Quilting Arts TV and Treasured Quilts of Wisconsin both on PBS.
