Free August 23 Children’s Event: Making Seed Bombs at Harmony Arboretum
MARINETTE, Wis. –Northern Lights Master Gardeners Association Inc. (NLMGAI) will be presenting a free children’s program on Making Seed Bombs on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Harmony Arboretum. In this fun project, children will mix up native plant seeds with a paste and form it into balls that when dry, can be thrown out into their yard (or elsewhere) where the native plants will grow next spring.
Directions are 7 miles west of Marinette on Hwy 64 or 10.5 miles from Hwy 141 on Hwy 64; then 0.5 miles south on County E.
This is the third of three free children’s events held at Harmony this summer.
While at Harmony Arboretum, children and adults can take advantage of exploring the Children’s Learning Garden or admiring the demonstration gardens, the herb and fragrance garden, the prairie and Harmony hardwoods.
Harmony Arboretum is a 495 acre former “county farm” that has been developed into a conservation and horticulture education and demonstration area. It is always open to the public and free.
