Aloha, friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! An honored Marine City event is coming up soon, and in conjunction, our first PTO fundraiser for the 2025/2026 school year.
From the Maritime Days website:
"Welcome to Marine City Festival Inc., where we've been dedicated to enhancing our community since our establishment in 1982. Our flagship event, the Maritime Days Festival, has been a beloved tradition since its inception in 1979, drawing families together in the heart of downtown Marine City for a celebration of our maritime heritage."
The HC PTO is offering donation-based parking in the HC parking lot to 1) ease the parking lot burden on local streets and 2) fundraise for the needs of our school. This parking lot does belong to Holy Cross, it is not a public lot.
As with any event, volunteers are a critical element. Please consider donating a few hours of your time to act as a parking lot attendant, collecting donations from vehicles wishing to park in our lot, and ensuring the money collected stays safe until we can deposit it with Judy. Please also consider sharing this parking info with your family, friends, neighbors, etc, anyone who attends the festival. Our lot is OPEN for business!!
