๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
Cosplayers are expected to cosplay as characters from Japanese manga, anime, or games, with a strong emphasis on the Shounen or Shoujo theme. Costumes and overall presentation must reflect this conceptโcapturing the essence of adventurous, action-packed shounen characters or the heartfelt, expressive style of shoujo characters. Other cosplay styles are welcome; however, judges will heavily consider how well the costume and performance align with the chosen theme.
๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
Submit a photo of the chosen anime/game/manga character as a reference for the Talent Scout and Judges.
Prepare background music in MP3 format for the stage performance.
Each performance must not exceed 2 minutes in length. (No minimum)
Criteria of Judging:
60% โ Costume
40% โ Performance
Costume & Props:
Costumes must reflect the shounen or shoujo theme and be made with good quality and creative materials.
Attention to detail is essentialโfrom head to toeโincluding makeup, props, and accessories.
Consideration will be given to the difficulty level of the costume and prop construction.
Props are allowed as long as they are safe, non-hazardous, and appropriate for the character.
๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
Participants should faithfully recreate the characterโs appearance, colors, costume details, and overall vibe.
๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
Talent Scouts and Judges will evaluate how well participants embody their characters through body language, facial expressions, and iconic posesโespecially as portrayed in the original source material.
If you feel that your costume may not fully align with the shounen or shoujo theme, you are encouraged to highlight the spirit of your character through performance. Whether itโs showcasing shounen-style determination and action or shoujo-style emotion and charm, a strong portrayal can still make a lasting impact.
