The Bands
Frantic Amber (SWE)
FRANTIC AMBER is an all-female melodic death metal band based in Stockholm, Sweden. Their sound is an intense mixture of brutal riffs and soaring melodies combined with aggressive growl vocals. FRANTIC AMBER’s live show is described as an explosive whirlwind of energy with flying hair, a strong stage presence and unique charisma. With a new album “Death Becomes Her” out 4/4/2025, this is a band you don’t want to miss!
Prestige (FIN)
One of Finland’s longest-standing thrash metal bands, Prestige has been unleashing raw energy since 1987. Known for relentless tours and iconic albums like Attack Against Gnomes and Parasites in Paradise, they became the first Finnish metal band to perform in Czechoslovakia. After a brief hiatus, they reunited with renewed vigor, electrifying major festivals and releasing Reveal the Ravage in 2021. Expect legendary musicianship and a fierce stage presence that will set Badhusparken ablaze.
Excrementory Grindfuckers (GER)
Hailing from Hannover, Excrementory Grindfuckers fuse brutal grindcore, razor-sharp riffs, and satirical humor into a one-of-a-kind experience. Since 2001, they’ve dropped eight self-produced albums, performed at massive metal events like Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze, and played over 325 shows worldwide. Balancing hilarity with headbanging intensity, their set is guaranteed to leave an unforgettable impression—brutal, outrageous, and anything but clownish.
Methane (SWE)
Methane ignites the metal scene with a blazing fusion of thrash and groove, forged by bassist/vocalist Tim Scott (ex-Revenant) alongside a powerhouse lineup of Jimi Masterbo, Markus Grundström, and Richard Fredriksson. With scorching riffs and an unrelenting live presence, they’ve torched stages across Europe and the U.S., sharing the fire with legends like Warbringer and The Haunted—now returning with their infernal new release K*ll It With Fire, a searing testament to their unapologetic, high-octane sound.
Venue: Badhusparken
Located near the main harbor, Badhusparken is Mariehamn’s most iconic concert venue. For Metal Mayhem, you’ll catch all the action inside the pavilion, complete with a bar and food options—perfect for fueling up during an evening of full-throttle metal.

Getting Here
Åland is easily reached by ferry from both Finland and Sweden, or by plane from larger cities like Helsinki and Stockholm. Ferries and flights operate regularly, making it convenient to plan a weekend escape—or a full week of island exploration—around the festival.
