🌿🌻 Community Garden Working Bee! 🌻🌿
📅 Date: Sunday, August 31st
⏰ Time: 9 AM - 1 PM
📍 Location: Horseshoe Bend Reserve, 113 Horseshoe Bend Main Drive, Keilor 3038
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
🍎 Winter fruit tree pruning (learn some great skills!)
🌱 Planting new seeds
🌽 Harvesting produce for donation
🌿 Mulching garden beds
🌾 Weeding
🌳 Creating hügelkultur beds
🍵 Morning tea will be supplied to keep us energised and refreshed.
🐾 Pets are welcome, but must stay on a lead at all times.
👧 Children under 15 must be supervised by their attending adult.
We’ll also be drawing our Annual Raffle at this Working Bee! 🎉
🎫 Tickets are $4 each or 3 for $10. You can grab them at the Working Bee, at the Keilor Village Night Market (6th August), or via PayID (0452 105 228 – Horseshoe Bend Community Group). Winners will be drawn at 11:30am on Saturday 30th August 2025 and contacted by phone or email.
Come for an hour or stay all morning—every bit of help counts!
