Electric Hoarse Live at The Oval Bandstand
Turn up the volume and feel the energy as Electric Hoarse takes the stage at The Oval Bandstand for an electrifying Summer Sunday performance.
Electric Hoarse is the sound of the rocks; indie, classic, blues, and desert - the sound of England in the summertime; an intoxicating blend of lazy days, electric nights and banging tunes!
Described by The Big Takeover magazine as; "Musically, they combine the jaunt and joyous nature of upbeat British indie-rock music with a hazy, windswept vibe that has drifted in from some far-flung, US desert rock sound. This deft and delicate combination makes for a mercurial blend of groove and pathos, upbeat energy, and drifting nostalgia.”
Formed a decade ago in Kent, England, Electric Hoarse has been captivating audiences with their electrifying performances and powerful songwriting. Their debut album, Endless Summer, released in 2024, showcases their distinct style and has cemented their reputation as outstanding songwriters and live performers. Over the years, they have graced stages across Southern England, from headlining iconic venues like The Water Rats in London and The Carlisle in Hastings, as well as local Kent festivals such as Milkfest and Cranfest.
The Oval's Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions). Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!
-Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm - 5pm .
-Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
-A minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16's no donation required).
-All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
-A fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
-Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
-All seating areas have step-free access.
-There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
-Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
