An Afternoon of History

Join us for an afternoon of history on 4th July as we welcome back author Jane Smith to talk about her latest book, One Free Woman: The True Story of Convict Hannah Rigby.

One Free Woman tells the compelling true story of the only female convict to stay in Moreton Bay when the penal settlement closed – a woman who notoriously served three separate sentences of transportation, including two at one of the harshest establishments in the country.

Be sure to stay for afternoon tea and our History Redcliffe monthly meeting where you can hear all about what we’re up to.
