But listen my people, you don’t need to be post-menopausal or a woman. We are here for the ZEST. The creativity, the centering of our friendships, relationship building, the complete infusion of giving not a single fuck as we pursue self-expression.

I witness you. And you witness me.

And while we are not giving fucks about what folks think of us, we give LOTS AND LOTS of fucks about inclusion and rights and equanimity. Solidarity.

We have a relaxed schedule of things to do each day. Room built in to craft, downtime, adventure time, and on your own self-exploration time, etc.

The event ticket includes:

• Welcome bag with rockin' swag
• Breakfast on the daily served at the HQ house!
• Entrance & Ride on the Punk Rock BUS to Balmorhea State Park with a banging breakfast picnic and snacks provided while we swim!
• We are doing a catered family meal on Friday night. In the past we used Convenience West - which is the best BBQ on the planet - though we are totally biased. THEY MAY BE SHUTTERING!!!! If that happens we will find a plan B.
• Other nights dinner Mains are provided with themes for you to fill in the sides and extras.
• Get on the Bus - Rides to the different thrift stores, farmers market, the store, and photo tours. If you need a ride from where you are staying we will come and get ya.
• Access to sewing machines, sergers, irons, and whatever else we can think of sewing related. We will probably also make laminated luggage tags, make buttons, and perhaps a zine or a linograph stamp.
• Clapping and cheering if you wanna do some thrift store upcycling, someone is always around to help or give feedback.
• Travel Support - We do a shout-out before the event to see if we can pair up any folks for carpooling coordination...cuz it's always better together. Let us know if you need help figuring out travel.
• HQ has a full kitchen, so cook it up! Or not!

What's not included:

• Lunches
• Place to sleep is not provided unless you grab one of the beds in the HQ house if available (add-on fee).
• A ride out to Marfa - there might be room on the bus from Houston for you if you wanna go out early. This is an extra fee for fuel, and your housing would need to include this additional time - just plan ahead and enjoy the extra time on both sides. We typically leave the Sunday or Monday before and return the Monday or Tuesday after camp. If you wanna know more - let's keep talking about it. Not driving to Marfa adds overall ease for many.

Classes we have lined up:

• ZIPPERS!!!!!! With Lisa, using them as an art form and expression for the altered couture
• Rowan wants to make demerit badges, fueled by her zestiness and disdain for the patriarchy.
• Blythe may talk about how zippers are the perfect metaphor for shadow work.
