Bird Feeding Program

Want to learn more about attracting different types of birds to your birdfeeder? Join us Friday February 13th at Baltimore Woods, along with our Aspen Song birdseed specialists, for a morning made for bird-watchers and aspiring bird-watchers!

Meet in Baltimore Woods Nature Center at 10am to start your day with an indoor presentation & slideshow full of bird feeding tips, some bird trivia, and lots of information about how to match the right feeder style to a bird seed mix that will attract the types of birds you would like to see at your feeder. Breakfast foods and drinks will be provided! You'll also learn about Baltimore Woods Nature Center, and get a chance to practice your bird I.D. skills during some guided bird-feeder observations with Baltimore Woods staff. If you have ever thought about joining the "Great Backyard Bird Count" - now is your chance to see how it is done and how learn to participate at home! (The Great Backyard Bird Count happens Feb 13-16, 2026)

Finally, the morning program will conclude with a birdwatching hike (*optional) on some of the Baltimore Woods trails

There will be lots of great information- as well as some bird seed giveaways from Aspen Song & some special bird feeding coupons from Nightingale's
