Description - Get ready to make a splash for a great cause! Comeout to Marathon Community Park for the upcoming Charity Dunk Tank Fundraiser – The Stupid Cupid Splash Zone, featuring local leaders, educators, and community figures like The Sheriff of Monroe County, The Mayor, City Manager, Fire Department, just to name a few. These brave souls will be plunging into water to support Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys & Forgotten Felines. The event promises fun, laughter, and a chance to support vital local services, happening on Saturday February 21, 2026, from 11 am est to 4 pm est at The City of Marathon Community Park.
Participants can purchase throws for $5 for three chances to dunk a volunteer, with all proceeds directly benefiting Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys & Forgotten Felines. The dunk tank is a centerpiece of the larger “Stupid Cupid Splash Zone” , which also features food trucks, games, community booths, bounce house, music and so much more.
We're excited to bring the community together for some amazing “Marathon” fun while raising crucial funds for our furry friends and those in need. "Dunking our local heroes, like Sherrif Rick Ramsay, City Manager George Garrett, Planning Director Brian Shea, and Marathon High School Teacher Robert Driscoll , is a lighthearted way to show support for Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys & Forgotten Felines which does incredible work for animals and housing in our area."
