Workshop Description: “All that we are in story…We can change the world one story at a time” – Richard Wagamese- Native author and story teller
From felt board stories to puppets and from drawing stories to magnetic stories. From oral story telling to written works – I invite you all to join me in a story time adventure and learn How to tell a Story in Many Different Ways
Stories are meant to promote language development problem solving skills, develop creative thinking, develop imagination, improve public speech ad be inclusive.
Through this workshop you can expect to learn:
· How to tell a story in a variety of ways
· How to introduce language continuation to young children and adults alike
· How to revitalize story telling
· How to be inclusive in story telling

Oana Nistor is an Early Childhood Educator, Montessori teacher and story teller. She has been working in the field of ECE for over 20 years, presently working as an instructor in the ECE department at Ridge Meadows College. She is passionate about children and stories and their teaching power believing stories have the power to include all children and their families and how storytelling can help with language continuation and revitalization. Together we can share our stories.
