Wildland Urban Interface Town Hall

As the likelihood of fast-moving wildfires has increased with housing developments pushing further into forested areas, Puget Sound Fire encourages all residents to be prepared. Please join is for a Wildland Urban Interface Town Hall on Wednesday, May 14 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Lake Wilderness Lodge, in the City of Maple Valley. Members of Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority will be on hand for this event.

What is a Wildland Urban Interface? It is an area where homes and other structures meet or intermingle with wildland vegetation that is at a higher risk of wildfires and the potential for fire to spread rapidly. Topics to be covered at the town hall:
