Memorial Day Murph

F3 of Kankakee will be hosting a Memorial Day Murph. Our fitness group F3 will be hosting a Murph at Legacy Park. What is a Murph?

The workout is designed to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.

Purpose: The workout is designed to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.

Structure:
1-mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 air squats
1-mile run

Weight Vest: Men typically wear a 20-pound weight vest, while women wear a 14-pound vest.

Modifications: The Murph can be scaled for different fitness levels, with modifications for pull-ups, push-ups, and squats.


We would love to see anybody that's interested in participating again. This is a free event. There is a website where you can donate to the Michael Murphy foundation. We will have that posted.
