Special guest:
Mike Sutton is an amateur herpetologist and has also been a science teacher for 23 years, a volunteer for BLM and CDFW as a consultant on Limestone Salamanders and employed by CFW over a seven year period as first a Scientific Aid, then a Fish and Wildlife technician and finally as the Environmental Scientist for the lower Merced River. During this time he amassed a living collection of about 70 species/subspecies of native California Reptiles in amphibians and presented educational programs about these animals from more than 10 years at venues, such as Pinecrest, Calaveras, big trees, state park, and various campgrounds.
