THE BIG CLEAN @ LIBERTY PARK

Though our land needs this rain to build us a green world, I sure wish it had picked a different day. The forecast for Liberty at the time of this post is an on-again, off-again all day rain. This is not ideal for our park projects planned for this weekend. Since our Veterans are a scary lot when they are soaked to the bone, and our civic volunteers, who were planning on addressing trash issues within the park, would likely find themselves on slippery grass and mud, we have decided to reschedule. As fun as it might sound, we don't want anyone sliding down the lawn and into the drink. Our new date will be Saturday May 17th at 10:00a. We all hope that those of you who were planning on helping us with the big clean will be able to adjust your schedules. Join us on Saturday after next, which I have been assured will be sunny and bright. For those of you who have just now become aware of our plan to spruce up the circuit equipment and deep clean the trash that has collected in our streams, forests, and field, come on down and lend a hand! We are preparing the park for a summer of activities, events, and sports. Together, we are building a new future for Liberty and the citizens that call Mansfield home. You will be amongst friends.
